Medical Weight Loss
This is not a diet. It is a plan built around your body, your labs, and your life, with a provider alongside you the whole way.
Our medical weight loss program is supervised care, not a packaged diet. Your provider reviews your health history, your labs, and your goals, then we build a plan that fits the way you actually live.
Because the plan is medical, we can adjust it as your body changes. Progress gets measured with real data, including a Styku 3D body composition scan that shows far more than a scale can.
We are on Main Street in Barnwell, with a second location in Hilda. You do not have to drive to Columbia for medical-grade care.
Under provider supervision. Care at Weigh To Go SC is overseen by Courtney Hutto, FNP-C, a Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 12 years of clinical experience, licensed in South Carolina. Every plan starts with an evaluation, and your provider has the final word on what is right for you.
The first step is a Program Overview, a 30-minute visit at no cost and with no commitment. You come in, we explain what is available, answer your questions, and you decide what you want to do next.
If you move forward, your new patient consultation is about an hour. That visit covers labs, nutrition counseling, body composition analysis, and vitals.
Nothing is prescribed at the Overview. It is a conversation.
Ask anything about the program, the cost, and what the first month actually looks like.
We review what you have tried and what has worked, so the plan starts from reality.
Leave with a clear picture of your options and what moving forward involves.
Baseline labs so your provider is working from your numbers, not guesswork.
Practical guidance for real food in a real kitchen, not a list of things you cannot have.
A 3D scan that maps body composition and measurements so progress is visible.
Lipotropic and vitamin B12 injections that many patients use alongside their plan.
Where medication is appropriate, your provider manages it and monitors how you respond.
Regular visits so the plan gets adjusted instead of abandoned.
GLP-1 is a hormone your body already makes that affects appetite and how full you feel. Some prescription medications work along that same pathway, and they are used under provider oversight, not on their own.
Whether a medication is right for you depends on your history, your labs, and your provider's judgment. It is never a decision made from a website.
Ask the team about what is currently available and what it costs. Pricing changes, so we will give you current numbers when you call or come in.

No. Some patients use medication, some use injections like Lipo-B12, and some follow a plan without either. Your provider recommends what fits your situation.
The plan is built around your life. Nutrition counseling is about practical changes you can keep, not a list of forbidden foods.
